Bulgaria 5 Positions Down In the Global Competitiveness Report

In this year's  Global Competitiveness Report released by the World Economic Forum Bulgaria ranks 79th which is 5 positions down compared to last year, announced BNR. The reason for this are some negative assessments for the effectiveness of the institutions made by representative sample of business leaders in our country.Among the indicators mentioned in the survey are the inefficient law enforcement and equity, corruption, inefficient crime prevention, insufficient protection of the intellectual property, sluggish regulations and lack of transparency in the public procurements.
